Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about your Glerups wool footwear and shopping experience.
What makes Glerups wool unique?
Glerups are crafted from 100% pure natural wool, which is processed manually to follow the shape of the foot. This material is breathable, odor-resistant, and can absorb moisture to keep your feet warm and dry in any weather.
How do I choose the right size?
We recommend choosing your standard European size. Glerups should fit snugly at first, as the wool will slightly compress and mold to the unique shape of your feet after a few days of wear.
My Glerups are 'shedding' wool. Is this normal?
Yes, this is completely normal. Because we use natural wool, the coarsest fibers work their way out of the felt during the first few days of use. Simply remove the excess fibers and they will stop shedding shortly.
How should I clean and maintain my wool footwear?
Wool is self-cleaning, but if they need a refresh, you can vacuum them to remove dust. If necessary, they can be hand-washed in lukewarm water using wool detergent, but they must be air-dried and should never be put in a tumble dryer.
What is your return policy?
We offer a 30-day return window for all unworn items in their original packaging. If you are not satisfied with your fit or style, you can initiate a return or exchange through our online portal.
What is the difference between the leather and rubber soles?
Our calfskin leather soles are designed for indoor use, providing a soft, silent, and flexible grip. Our natural rubber soles offer more traction and can be worn for light outdoor tasks like grabbing the mail.
